This reflects a drop from 37 in 2008 and 36 in 2007, added the report. But slightly more of the county’s youth consider themselves a member of a gang. Eleven percent of seventh and ninth graders and 9 percent of 11th graders said they are members of a gang — higher than the statewide average.
