And they say it won't be tolerated. The gang unit says that typically, local gangs are fragmented and spread out over a large area. Gang-related shooting reported in North Riverside (Brookfield, IL): North Riverside police are investigating a gang-related shooting incident that occurred about 8:25 p.m. Sunday. Two 16-year-old boys from North Riverside and one 16-year-old boy from Brookfield were questioned and admitted to being gang members, according to police records.
