Police Claim Gang Member Found at San Angelo Motel (San Angelo, TX): On Thursday afternoon, the San Angelo police said they visited the Super 8 Motel on West Avenue L for the report of an unconscious person. There, police said they spotted a suspected gang member who was in possession of a firearm.

Houston gang member arrested in Bryan motel (Bryan, TX): A Houston gang member with prior felony convictions was arrested in Bryan with ecstasy, marijuana and a firearm. Investigators say, Corey White, 37, was staying at a motel on the 1600 block of South Texas Avenue. The staff there was worried White was dealing drugs out of the room after seeing several people go in and out during his stay.

Shooting during party at Fort Worth park reminds some of gang violence 30 years ago (Fort Worth, TX): People used to call the city of Fort Worth, “Murder Worth,” said Jesse Taylor, a local community activist. A shooting that occurred Sunday at Village Creek Park wounded five people and brought back memories of three decades ago, when gangs ruled the streets in parts of south Fort Worth and there was a funeral, sometimes more than one, every week, Taylor said.

What did Killeen's 13 homicides in 18 weeks have in common? (Killeen, TX): Just four minutes into Monday morning, officers reported to the 1200 block of Goodhue Drive after a 911 caller said shots were fired. They found Kevin Anton Davis, who had been shot. Davis died over an hour afterward. Davis was the thirteenth homicide victim in Killeen so far this year, the son of former Judge Claudia Brown didn't follow the trend of earlier shootings because of his age.

Fabian Hernandez, 44, was set to die Thursday until the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals ordered a delay as the state deals with the coronavirus pandemic.

Jonathan Alexander Gonzalez-Rosales, 25, is in the U.S. illegally and an active member of the 18th Street Gang, a transnational criminal organization, ICE explained in a news release Tuesday night.

Lufkin Police Arrest Three Men for Organized Criminal Activity (Lufkin, TX): Saturday night at 11:30, Lufkin Police officers were called to a Shell station at 3008 Atkinson Drive following a report of a group of men wearing masks and gloves in the parking lot – one of them waving around and racking a shotgun. The caller believed the men were going to rob the store. He also said he heard the men talking about “Crips,” and saw them throwing gang signs.
