Border Patrol arrest sex offenders, gang members (Harlingen, TX):
Border Patrol agents are continuing to make arrests in the Rio Grande Valley. The first arrest was made on Saturday by McAllen agents working in Hidalgo, Texas. A Salvadorian national was arrested after he entered the United States illegally. During processing, officials learned that he had a previous arrest in Indiana for sexual misconduct with a minor.

Northside Crip Gang Member Arrested In Connection To Teen Killing, Charged With Capital Murder (Fort Worth, TX):
A 23-year-old man accused of killing a 17-year-old during a carjacking is in custody at the Tarrant County Jail. Nelson Viera, 23, faces a charge of capital murder in the shooting death of Josiah Orozco of Dallas at a Studio 6 Motel in Fort Worth.

Border Patrol Agents Arrest Transnational Organized Criminal Gang Member (Del Rio, TX):
U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Uvalde Station arrested a member of a known criminal gang, from El Salvador, Nov. 19. “Transnational Criminal Organizations are looking for any way they can to penetrate the United States,” said Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Raul L. Ortiz. “Fortunately, in this case, our agents were able to apprehend this gang member safely without further incident.”

Dallas Police Create Program In Attempt To Reduce Gang Violence (Dallas, TX):
A new program called "ceasefire" will try and reduce gang violence in the city of Dallas. Stats show 50-75% of the murders in the city have been committed by less than 1% of the population. Those doing the killing are often gang members.

1 injured in gang-related shooting, Fort Worth police say (Fort Worth, TX):
Police are investigating a gang-related shooting in Fort Worth. Authorities say the shooting occurred Friday evening near Hervie Street and Libbey Avenue. When officers arrived at the scene they found a male who had been shot.

Waco to build multi-agency anti-gang hub with state funding (Waco, TX):
Waco will be the latest Texas city to form a criminal justice hub dedicated to finding and stopping organized crime. The city received a $1.5 million Texas Anti-Gang grant to create the hub, where 10 to 15 Waco detectives who already participate in anti-gang work will coordinate with state and federal authorities tackling the issue from a regional perspective, Waco Police Chief Ryan Holt said.

Border Patrol agents arrest MS-13 gang members (Harlingen, TX):
Border Patrol agents arrested two MS-13 gang members in two separate incidents last week. The first arrest was made on Wednesday when McAllen agents working in Mission, Texas arrested a Salvadorian national whose criminal record checks confirmed that he is a MS-13 gang member.

Houston’s most wanted gang members and the heinous crimes they're accused of (Houston, TX):
They’re documented gang members, and they’re all wanted for violent crimes, police say. StopHoustonGangs.org, a Houston-based anti-gang organization, assists police with blasting the faces of gang members who are currently on the run for some of the most heinous crimes, including murder. Arrests show patterns of gang activity in Greater Waco (Waco, TX):
The recent “Operation Washout” warrant roundup has shed some light on the nature of gang activity in the Waco area, which is in line for a state anti-gang task force. Warrant roundup targeting gang "scourge" nets 119 felony arrests (Waco, TX):
A five-day warrant roundup operation that wrapped up Friday netted 119 suspects in McLennan County, including many with gang affiliations, authorities said. “Operation Washout” rounded up suspects on outstanding state felony warrants for violent crimes, including capital murder and gang-related crimes, authorities said during a press conference.
