Three arrested in gang assault case (Fairfield, CA): An unidentified man was in critical condition Sunday night following a gang-related assault with a baseball bat in Fairfield earlier that day, authorities said. Three Fairfield residents - two 16 year-old boys and a 26-year-old man - were subsequently arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Drug agents seize PCP in major bust in Cleveland (Cleveland, OH): Federal drug agents have seized more than $1 million in the hallucinogen PCP that a Los Angeles gang member delivered to Cleveland in a water-sealant jug, authorities said. The seizure is the largest in Cleveland in at least 10 years, according to authorities.
