Seven reputed gang members are arrested in Tacoma (Tacoma, WA): Seven men reputedly from a Pierce County gang known as the Seven Deuce Mob have been indicted on federal drug and weapons charges after investigators made an early morning sweep through Tacoma on Tuesday, collecting firearms and more than two kilograms of cocaine, authorities said.

Two teens shot at Valley bus stop (Pacoima, CA): Continuing a wave of bloodshed in the northeast San Fernando Valley, two teenagers were shot Tuesday just two blocks from the site of a weekend melee that left one person dead and eight others wounded, officials said. Both teens were expected to survive the afternoon drive-by shooting, with one suffering three gunshot wounds to the leg and the other struck once in the leg.

Man, woman hurt in park shooting (Lathrop, CA): A man was critically wounded and a woman suffered minor injuries Sunday in what Lathrop Police believe to be a gang-related shooting. Alfredo Manriquez, 18, of Lathrop suffered a shotgun wound to the face and Melissa Mendel, 19, of Stockton suffered minor wounds to her stomach, head and arms in the 9:24 p.m. incident, police said.
