Four gang members arrested for north suburban shootings (Waukegan, IL): Police arrested four street gang members this week for alleged roles in gang-related shootings in north suburban Waukegan. Authorities responded in January to two connected shootings with victims in the 600 block of Lorraine Avenue, according to a Waukegan police release.

Multiple shootings in Fort Worth are gang-related, police say (Fort Worth, TX): Fort Worth police say two separate shootings that took place early Friday morning are gang related. The first took place outside the Lone Star Nite Club in Sundance Square when a fight inside the bar spilled out onto Commerce Street just after 2 a.m. At some point during the fight, one man pulled a gun and shot another man in the stomach.

Gang members get 168½ years in killing of Tacoma woman (Tacoma, WA): A Tacoma gang member and four accomplices were sentenced to a total of 168½ years in prison Friday for the deadly 2010 shooting of a Tacoma woman as she drove a car they mistakenly thought belonged to a rival gang member.
