Most crimes dropped in 2011 in Bell Gardens (Bell Gardens, CA): A rash of gang violence last fall is being blamed for a 75 percent increase in homicides, according to Bell Gardens Police Captain Jeff Travis, who said four of the seven homicides that occurred in 2011 have been solved, though one suspect is still at-large.
