Macon teen indicted in 'Sweet 16' killing (Macon, GA): Bibb County grand jurors indicted a Macon teenager Tuesday on charges that he killed another teenager and shot two others outside a "Sweet 16" birthday party last year. The killing was "for the benefit of, at the direction of and in association with the street gang Crips," according to the indictment.

Tenth Street gang member sentenced (Buffalo, NY): U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr. announced Wednesday that 27-year-old Renel Velazquez of Buffalo, who was convicted of RICO Conspiracy, was sentenced to a term of 78 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara.
