Police searched an apartment at 615 West Onondaga Street and found about 20 grams of of crack cocaine, a small amount of heroin, over $3,500 in cash and a .22 and a .45 caliber gun, plus ammunition. The 5 who were arrested are believed to be members of the 110 and Blood Gangs in Syracuse.

Teenager wounded in suspected gang shooting in Chula Vista (Chula Vista, CA): An apparent gang shooting outside a South Bay convenience store left a young man wounded early Thursday. "Store security video also shows Briseno appear to make hand gestures, potentially gang signs, at the occupants of the Honda prior to the shooting," the lieutenant alleged. "Based on the store security video, the shooting appears to be gang-related."
