CaliforniaFour shot (Lynwood, CA): A 20-year-old was fatally shot, and three others, ages 20, 43, and 23, were wounded in a gang-related shooting, authorities said. The pedestrians were standing in front of a liquor store when a man from a rival gang approached them. Someone chased the man away, and five to ten minutes later, he returned with a handgun and opened fire. The gunman fled the scene.

ArkansasApparent drive-by injures two in Little Rock (Little Rock, AR): Two men, ages 46 and 28, were injured in an apparent drive-by shooting while standing outside a nightclub, police said. Both were in stable condition, and police have no suspects.

CaliforniaLennox Homicide (Lennox, CA): Police are investigating a gang-related drive-by shooting that killed a 17-year-old. Two men in a car pulled alongside three pedestrians and asked them about their gang affiliation. "Gunfire erupted from the vehicle," an officer said. A 20-year-old was also grazed by a bullet, and the third teen was not hurt. No information of the suspects or arrests was available.

WisconsinThree arrested over graffiti in Cudahy (Cudahy, WI): Police arrested a 19, 18, and 16 year-old after receiving 17 complaints of gang graffiti on garages and vehicles in Cudahy. The three males were taken into custody in connection with the incidents.

New MexicoFour held in Mother's Day brawl (Santa Fe, NM): Santa Fe police have four people in custody in connection with a brawl that occurred during a Mother's Day party. The fight started as an argument between youths at the party, but then the yelling escalated into a physical confrontation that involved weapons. Although police have not confirmed this incident as gang-related, some witnesses said that there were gang slogans exchanged during the altercation. A 16-year-old was shot and killed, and two other young men were stabbed during the fight.

CaliforniaMan wounded in drive-by shooting (Chula Vista, CA): In a possible gang-related drive-by shooting, a man at a gas station was wounded when a passenger in a car flashed a gang sign, and then opened fire. According to reports, six shots were fired, and there were five possible suspects that fled the scene.

NevadaTwo men open fire outside Hard Rock Cafe (Las Vegas, NV): A few blocks from the Las Vegas strip, three people were injured as two men fired more than 30 shots outside the Hard Rock Cafe, witnesses and auhtorities said. "We don't know if it's gang-related, drug-related, or a beef between people," an officer said. The three victims' wounds were not life-threatening.

New YorkBrooklyn teenager shot to death (Bronx, NY): A 17-year-old teenager was shot to death after arguing with a man, police said. The victim was found gripping a gun and was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. Police are looking into the possibility of the shooting being gang-related.

GeorgiaSmile, taggers: You may be on graffiti camera (Gwinnett County, GA): Gwinnett police are trying out a new surveillance technique that will enable them to catch graffiti vandals. A camera will be concealed at various locations of the 200 in the county where graffiti has been painted. Suspects filmed will then be matched against Gwinnett Police Department's gang unit database of more than 1,800 gang members. "This is relatively new for us," said a spokesman for Gwinnett police. "We are trying to use any type of technology we can to combat the gang and graffiti issue."

MissouriMan, 29, is killed in drive-by shooting (St. Louis, MO) : A 29-year-old man was shot to death, and his 28-year-old passenger was wounded in a drive-by shooting, police said. A car with three or four people pulled up next to the victims' car, and then shots were fired. Police are searching for suspects.

AlabamaPolice look for two in shooting death (Montgomery, AL): Police are seeking two men, ages 23 and 25, in connection with a drive-by shooting that killed a 21-year-old male, police said. The two suspects fled the scene after shooting the victim in a gas station parking lot. They will face capital murder charges, according to a police spokesman.

IllinoisAurora man held in four shootings at bowling alley (Kane County, IL): A 21-year old Aurora man was charged with shooting four people in a gang-related incident on March 30, at a North Aurora bowling alley. He is being held at Kane County Correctional Center charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated battery, aggravated discharge of a weapon, and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.

CaliforniaDinuba pair shot while sleeping (Dinuba, CA): A 33-year-old mother and her 4-year-old daughter were seriously injured when someone walked up to their bedroom window and fired a shotgun into the room. A moment later, someone fired a shotgun into the living room, missing an adult. Police believe that the attack may have been gang-related retaliation and that more than one person was involved in the shooting. The suspects are being sought.

New YorkDad killed in drive-by shooting (East Flatbush, NY): A 31-year-old man was fatally shot when another man in a vehicle slowed down, stuck a gun out his window, and opened fire, police said. The victim was parking his car in front of his home when the shooting occurred. Police said the motive for the shooting was unclear.

CaliforniaCentral Fresno teenager fatally shot while standing in his backyard (Central Fresno, CA): Police are investigating the death of a 17-year-old boy who was shot while in the backyard of his home. Investigators said that the shooter could have been on foot, bicycle, or in a car. Furthermore, police have not ruled out a self-inflicted or accidental wound. There were no witnesses, police said.

MinnesotaJordan neighborhood grieves again after drive-by killing (Jordan, MN) : A man was found slumped in a minivan's passenger seat after a fatal drive-by shooting. The man was killed when gunshots were fired from a passing car into the minivan, police said. A second man was shot in the arm and walked to an ambulance, according to witnesses. No further information on the victims or the suspects' descriptions were available.
