CaliforniaWatsonville police make five arrests in separate city attacks (Watsonville, CA): Watsonville police say they believe the attacks, leaving several people injured on March 26 and April 6, were both gang-related. During the first, outside of a liquor store on the 1100 block of Freedom Boulevard, involved three perpetrators and two victims who received moderate injuries.

CaliforniaThree Gang Members Arrested on Complaint Alleging Armed Robbery and Shooting at Beverly Hills Restaurant (Los Angeles, CA): Three members of the Rollin’ 30s Crips street gang have been arrested on a federal criminal complaint alleging they committed an armed robbery at a Beverly Hills restaurant’s crowded outdoor dining area on March 4 in which one restaurant patron was held at gunpoint and another was shot and wounded.

CaliforniaSuspect search, woman killed when wanted gang member crashes into her while escaping, police say (Fresno, CA): A woman is dead after police say a wanted gang member involved in an earlier pursuit crashed into her vehicle in Downtown Fresno on Wednesday. The incident began around 3:00 p.m. in the area of Calaveras and N Street when a CHP officer with MAGEC (the Multi-Agency Gang Enforcement Consortium) tried to stop a wanted gang member for weapons violation charges in the Chinatown area.

CaliforniaSuspect Arrested on Vandalism & Criminal Street Gang Charges (Fillmore, CA): A 24-year-old Moorpark man arrested for spray painting gang graffiti and causing hundreds of dollars of vandalism damage within the city of Fillmore. Between March 19, 2021 to March 21, 2021, deputies responded to several reports of an unknown suspect who had spray painted gang related graffiti on cement walls throughout the city of Fillmore.

CaliforniaMan arrested in connection to shooting outside of Citrus Heights nightclub, police say (Citrus Heights, CA): A 39-year-old man was arrested for a shooting at a Citrus Heights bar that left at least four people in the hospital, Citrus Heights police said. Police officers arrested Camila Saenz, a validated gang member, for a shooting outside of Rocky’s 7440 Club, near the 7400 block of Auburn Boulevard on Tuesday.

PennsylvaniaPittsburgh Man Sentenced to 5 Years for Conspiring to Distribute Crack Cocaine (Pittsburgh, PA): A resident of Pittsburgh, PA, has been sentenced in federal court to five years’ (60 months’) imprisonment on his conviction of conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine, Acting United States Attorney Stephen R. Kaufman announced today.

OhioT&A Crips Member Who Killed Rival Gang Member, Shot at Potential Witness Pleads Guilty (Columbus, OH): One of 19 defendants charged in a Columbus gang-related racketeering conspiracy pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court today for his part in furthering the violence of the local Crips gang. Jonathan Dantzler, 28, admitted to murdering a rival gang member and to shooting at a potential witness in 2012. He is one of 19 defendants charged in 2018 as part of the local gang T&A Crips.

GeorgiaAdditional arrests made in weekend shooting at Sandersville Waffle House (Sandersville, GA): Investigators in Washington County make two additional arrests in connection to a shooting outside a Waffle House on Mother’s Day. Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran says someone shot 20-year-old Kayiah Faulkner in the Waffle House parking lot around 3:00 Sunday morning. Sheriff Cochran says he believes the shooting is gang related, and more arrests are expected.

British ColumbiaSurrey's new municipal police force declines to stop hiring Mounties amid gang war (Surrey, BC): The Surrey Police Service says it has no plans to stop recruiting officers for its new force.
