December Shooting In Brownsburg Was Gang-Related (Brownsburg, IN): A shooting in Brownsburg that left a teenager dead was gang-related. That’s according to court documents that say the Hendricks County prosecutor is charging four people with murder. Freddie Hegwood died on Dec. 15, 2020. Hegwood and another individual, identified only by initials in court documents, were in a car in a Brownsburg subdivision when shots were fired from another passing car.

Graffiti believed to be gang-related (Meadow Lake, SK): On May 11 shortly before 7 p.m., Meadow Lake RCMP stopped a vehicle after it had left a residence known for gang activity. The male driver was a suspended driver and subsequently arrested and searched. Police seized several grams of cocaine and $650 in cash from the driver along with a digital scale, a cell phone, and a canister of bear spray.

Indian Posse Matthew Junior Gamble, 36, wanted his 7.5-year prison sentence reduced to five years, based on Gladue factors.

Detectives made the arrest on Wednesday, May 12. All three were taken into custody without incident and booked into the Pueblo County Detention Center.

Novato man convicted in gang murder of student (Novato, CA): A former Novato High School student was convicted Thursday in a gang ambush that killed one classmate and nearly killed another. The jury found Juan Carlos Martinez Henriquez, 22, guilty of murder, attempted murder and mayhem, according to the district attorney’s office. He faces a potential sentence of 25 years to life in state prison.

Sanger gang-member arrested for murder at Fresno apartment complex, police say (Fresno, CA): A 24-year-old gang member from Sanger was arrested following the death of a man outside a Fresno apartment complex on March 17, according to police. Officers say 39-year-old Orlando Gonzalez was found suffering from a gunshot wound on the 5200 block of E. Wildflower Lane in Fresno.
