Police find military-grade body armor after arresting gang members in Lemoore (Fresno, CA): Police in Lemoore found military-grade body armor in a home after arresting two gang members on Tuesday. The Lemoore Police Department says it began at 2:42 pm on April 5 when the department received multiple calls about shots being fired in the area of Fox St. and D St. Police determined the shooting to be gang-related and identified 20-year-old Juan Carlos Linares as the primary suspect.

Hartford Men Charged with Selling Fentanyl, Crack (Hartford, CT): John H. Durham, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, David Sundberg, Special Agent in Charge of the New Haven Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Hartford Police Chief Jason Thody announced that four Hartford residents were arrested today on federal criminal complaints charging them with narcotics distribution offenses. During today’s joint operation, investigators also found and seized 12 firearms.

Bakersfield Police release gang-related shooting stats for March (Bakersfield, CA): The Bakersfield Police Department said in March, it investigated six different shootings that were believed to be gang-related. According to BPD, on March 11 just after midnight, officers responded to a shooting on South H. Street, south of Brundage Lane. When they arrived, officers found the victim and pronounced them dead at the scene.

Michael Lopez, 36, was sentenced March 30 in two separate cases before Fifth Judicial District Judge Lisa Riley, court records read.

Salvadoran Gang Member Arrested In Arlington For Capital Murder In Dallas (Dallas, TX): Officers with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Enforcement and Removal Operations arrested a Salvadoran man in Arlington who was wanted for capital murder. Jonathan Alexander Gonzalez-Rosales, 25, is in the U.S. illegally and an active member of the 18th Street Gang, a transnational criminal organization, ICE explained in a news release Tuesday night.

Accused Lake Boyz gang member has charges dismissed (Fort Myers, FL): Deiondre Clennon, 23, a believed member of the Lake Boyz gang, had two racketeering charges dismissed on March 24. Clennon, of Lehigh Acres, was arrested Jan. 18, 2017, for racketeering and conspiracy of racketeering after a Fort Myers Police investigation led to the arrest of Clennon and 21 other men.
