Gach, a member of the Trip Set gang, pleaded guilty to distribution of marijuana and possession of firearms during drug trafficking. He also was sentenced to three years’ probation.

Manhattan Gang Member Pleads Guilty In Federal Court To Racketeering, Arson, Robbery, And Firearms Offenses (Manhattan, NY): Audrey Strauss, the Acting United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, announced that LARRY WHITE, a/k/a “L.O.,” pled guilty today in Manhattan federal court to participating in a racketeering enterprise known as Bully Gang, setting two cars on fire in Manhattan on January 14, 2019, committing multiple armed robberies, and committing a shooting on June 3, 2017, in Manhattan. U.S. District Judge Jed S. Rakoff accepted the defendant’s guilty plea.

Chicago violence prompts calls for street gang truce on 28th anniversary in shooting death of 7-year-old boy at Cabrini-Green (Chicago, IL): In 1992, the fatal shooting of a 7-year-old Near North Side boy resulted in a Chicago street gang truce. Now 28 years later, the family of Dantrell Davis is calling for another truce in hopes of stopping the violence in the city. Davis was shot to death at Cabrini-Green as he walked to school with his mother. A stray bullet fired by a gang member from the public housing high rise led to a truce that lasted a few years.
