Gang member charged with attempted murder in Pahokee (Pahokee, FL): A documented gang member is facing attempted murder charges in connection to a shooting in Pahokee. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office arrested 20-year-old Kevin Toribio Aguirre on Monday. The Gang Unit of the sheriff's office identified Toribio, a member of the Green Team street gang in Pahokee, as a possible suspect.

PD: Tempe carjacker took vehicle because there were 'gangsters that wanted to kill him' (Tempe, AZ): Tempe police released new information about a carjacking and pursuit from May 15. According to Tempe police, 44-year-old Rodrigo Aguilar was seen carjacking an occupied 2017 Ford Fusion at the Circle K at Avenida Del Yaqui and Priest Drive at 12:20 p.m. He allegedly displayed a black semi-automatic pistol and pointed it at the driver from about one foot away.

Over 70 suspects charged in Polk Co. drug bust (Polk County, FL): A 9-month long wiretap investigation helped lead to the arrest of over 70 suspects on drug charges in Polk County. According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, “Operation Hot Wire,” which began in Sept. 2019, stemmed from a series of five violent, gang-related armed home invasions and the murder of Shay Collins in Dundee in 2019.

Inmate shot by tower officer during gang-related fight on prison yard (Ionia County, MI): An inmate was shot Sunday, May 17, by a tower officer after multiple fights at Michigan Reformatory. The inmate was shot in the arm and taken to a hospital for treatment. The state Department of Corrections said that multiple prisoners, some with weapons, were fighting on two yards. Corrections officers tried to break up the fights but the prisoners would not stop.

Police: Rival gang members involved in Ocean Blvd. shooting in Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach, SC): Myrtle Beach police have identified those involved in Sunday night’s shooting on Ocean Boulevard as rival gang members from Chesterfield County, authorities announced Monday. According to information from the Myrtle Beach Police Department, the members had an ongoing issue in their home community, traveled to Myrtle beach, and “continued their conflict with reckless acts in our community.”
