DA: Gang Member Charged With Triple Murder At Torrance Bowling Alley (Torrance, CA): A 47-year-old man has been charged with killing three men at a bowling alley in Torrance last month. Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney John Chang said Reginald Leander Wallace, of Los Angeles, is charged with opening fire at Gable House Bowl, located in the 22000 block of Hawthorne Blvd., on Jan. 4.

Azusa residents look for long-term solutions to gang violence (Azusa, CA): In the past year, Pastor Adrian Greer has had to hold three grieving mothers as they’ve cried on his shoulder over the deaths of their sons. A lifelong Azusa resident, Greer operates MYTHIRDPLACE, a nonprofit organization operating out of Foothill Community Church, which aims to provide local teenagers mentorship outside of home and school.

Convicted West Baltimore 'Trained to Go' gang leader faces up to life in prison at sentencing Friday (Baltimore, MD): A convicted West Baltimore gang leader once dubbed the city’s “No.1 trigger puller” is scheduled to be sentenced Friday afternoon. Federal prosecutors said Montana Barronette, who turns 24 on Monday, once headed the “Trained to Go” gang, a subset of the Black Guerrilla Family, that was responsible for nine murders, threatening witnesses and dealing at least 1,000 grams of heroin around the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood.

Vancouver police arrest fugitive gang member (Vancouver, BC): Vancouver police detectives on Wednesday arrested a wanted Norteño gang member. Mario Barasa, 35, of Vancouver was arrested on suspicion of two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, one count each of possession of methamphetamine and heroin, one count each of possession of methamphetamine and heroin with the intent to deliver, and one count of escaping community custody, according to a Vancouver Police Department news release.

Leader of Violent West Baltimore Gang Sentenced to Life in Prison for Federal Racketeering and Drug Conspiracy Charges, Including Murders and Witness Intimidation (Baltimore, MD): A Baltimore, Maryland man was sentenced today to life in prison for conspiring to participate in a violent racketeering enterprise known as Trained To Go (TTG). The racketeering conspiracy included eight murders, drug trafficking, and witness intimidation.
