Three Northwest gang members connected to fatal 2017 shooting will stand trial (Santa Maria, CA): The three men charged in connection to the September 2017 shooting of Edward Ramirez will stand trial for criminal street gang conspiracy and a slew of related charges after a Santa Maria Superior Court judge ruled Tuesday that enough evidence exists to hold the men to answer.

A Tri-Cities meth trafficker linked to street gangs is ordered to federal prison (Richland, WA): A 31-year-old man with a rap sheet as long as his age is going to federal prison for trafficking methamphetamine in the Tri-Cities. Antonio Faustino Deleon will spend 15 years and eight months behind bars, followed by five years on court supervision. Deleon also is known to affiliate with the Sureño street gang, according to federal prosecutors.

Lorain police said they are searching for Javiaan Davis, 18, a suspected member of a southside Lorain street gang, police said.

Long-time Sureno gang member and Tri-Cities drug dealer gets 15 years in prison (Spokane, WA): After pleading guilty, 31-year-old Antonio Faustino Deleon of the Tri-Cities area was sentenced to more than 15 years in prison for possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of pure methamphetamine. The prison sentence is to be followed by a 5-year term of court supervision.

8 suspected members of Reading gang The Sevens facing federal sex-trafficking charges (Reading, PA): Federal prosecutors on Thursday vindicated the wariness of some local residents and police, saying in a grand jury indictment that a gang called "The Sevens" operated inside the building at 125-127 S. Fourth St. Officials said The Sevens combined some of the most violent gangs in the country and were operating a sex-trafficking and prostitution ring with multiple victims, including at least two minors.
