12 suspected Oxnard gang members to be notified of proposed changes to injunctions (Oxnard, CA): A judge on Tuesday tried to ensure that people identified as Oxnard gang members get a chance to have a say about how they’re treated. Superior Court Judge Kent Kellegrew signed orders authorizing Oxnard police to notify six suspected members from each of Oxnard’s largest street gangs about proposed changes to the gang injunctions that would put restrictions on their civil liberties.

Suspect in near-decapitation Wichita gang killing over 6 years ago is still on the run (Wichita, KS): A man suspected of participating in a gang-related Wichita killing of a man over six years ago is still on the run from police. Rathanak Chea has been charged by prosecutors with first-degree murder in the August 2012 death of Pheng Xiong, but Chea has left Wichita. He is listed on the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office most wanted and has a felony arrest warrant.

Pittsburgh Man Pleads Guilty to Drug Charges in Operation Gang Green Investigation (Pittsburgh, PA): A resident of Pittsburgh, PA, pleaded guilty in federal court to charges of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and possession with intent to distribute cocaine, United States Attorney Scott W. Brady announced today. peMarvin Younger, age 37, pleaded guilty on February 14, 2019, to two counts before Senior United States District Judge Arthur J. Schwab.

Philadelphia Gang Member Convicted by Jury of Murder and Additional Drugs and Firearms Crimes (Philadelphia, PA): United States Attorney William M. McSwain announced that Bryant Calloway a/k/a “Bigs,” 32, of Philadelphia, was convicted today by a jury of one count of murder. He was also convicted of one count of conspiracy to distribute 280 grams or more of cocaine base; one count of using, carrying, brandishing and discharging a firearm during a drug trafficking crime; one count of maintaining a house for drug distribution (and doing so within 1,000 feet of a playground); and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
