Gang Member Sentenced (Nashville, TN) : A federal judge has sentenced a Tennessee gang member after he fired shots in public housing neighborhoods and at responding police officers. According to U.S. Attorney Donald Cochran’s office, 20-year-old Antonio L. Bender of Nashville received the sentence this week on federal firearms and obstruction of justice charges.

Cobb gang member sentenced for luring man out of trailer, shooting him (Cobb County, GA): A 24-year-old Marietta man has been sentenced to life in prison for shooting a man in the leg while trying to rob him. A jury on Friday convicted Jaylin Marquis Bell on charges of gang participation, armed robbery, aggravated assault and possessing a firearm as a felon, according to a Cobb County District Attorney’s Office news release.
