Gang-related crime isn’t increasing in Nampa (Nampa, ID): The crime data does not suggest a “spike in visible gang activity.” In fact, it shows the opposite. Nampa Police data shows that 76 crimes were classified as gang crimes in 2014. Only three of those were violent. This is compared to 2011 when our data showed 317 gang-related crimes, with only eight classified as violent.

Boise man enters final guilty plea in Aryan Knights case (Boise, ID): Joshua Nall, 31, pleaded guilty Tuesday in United States District Court to unlawfully possessing a firearm, U.S. Attorney Wendy J. Olson announced. Nall is among 23 people charged with drug trafficking and firearms violations as part of an investigation involving the Aryan Knights gang, and he's the 23rd person to enter a guilty plea.
