New injunction targets LA's 38th Street gang (Los Angeles, CA): An injunction has been put in place targeting one of the city's oldest street gangs, Police Chief William Bratton and other city officials announced Wednesday. The preliminary injunction against the 38th Street Gang, which dates back to the 1920s, was approved last week by Superior Court Judge David Yaffe.

When the Bloods spray-painted graffiti on the side of a deli at Woltz Avenue and Sycamore Street that disrespected the Crips, the Crips retaliated, police said.
