Police: Gang members assault man on Prince Memorial Greenway (Santa Rosa, CA): A 20-year-old man hanging out Sunday evening along the Prince Memorial Greenway path near downtown Santa Rosa was beaten and robbed by gang members who hit him with a metal bat before running off with his money and identification, according to Santa Rosa police.

Loveland sees decrease in gang-affiliated residents, crimes (Loveland, CO): Gang-related activity and crimes have been steadily decreasing in Loveland the last few years, according to police officials. Gang-related crime isn’t increasing in Nampa (Nampa, ID): The crime data does not suggest a “spike in visible gang activity.” In fact, it shows the opposite. Nampa Police data shows that 76 crimes were classified as gang crimes in 2014. Only three of those were violent. This is compared to 2011 when our data showed 317 gang-related crimes, with only eight classified as violent.
